Forster Winzerverein
Our pride and joy:
The best vineyards of the Palatinate
The small wine village of Forst, in the heart of the Mittelhaardt region, has been shaped by viticulture for centuries. Our soils achieve the highest quality ratings in Germany. Vineyard sites such as Kirchenstück, Ungeheuer, and Pechstein established the international reputation of Forst wines today.
Forster Winzerverein
FROM FORST’S FINEST GRAND CRU VINEYARDS
The Forster Winzerverein has been firmly rooted in Forst
an der Weinstrasse since 1918 – one of Germany’s most
renowned wine-growing communities. A Mediterranean
microclimate, mineral-rich soils, and legendary vineyards
such as Kirchenstück, Pechstein, and Ungeheuer make
Forst the home of outstanding Rieslings.
Our vineyards rank among Germany’s most prestigious
sites. The weathered basalt soils of the extinct
Pechsteinkopf volcano give our wines their distinctive
minerality and depth. We cultivate these exceptional
vineyards with pride and responsibility.
